HA5 Street Overlay Information
In the next few weeks, the City of Euless will be performing a specialized street maintenance designed to extend the life of its roads.
Contractors working on the City’s behalf will be applying a maintenance treatment that will help to preserve the existing asphalt and extend pavement life. This treatment product is called HA5 and additional information is available at www.holbrookasphalt.com/ha5.php.
For those of you impacted by this project, we are asking for your help for 24 hours and in return you will receive an improved roadway surface that will lengthen the pavement life of your asphalt street. For HA5 to be properly installed, specialized equipment is required. The product is applied in two separate passes and needs up to 24 hours to cure. During this time, traffic and water from irrigation will not be allowed on the street. The product will be warrantied for five years and we fully expect it to last longer than that.
Here’s where we need your help. The night before your scheduled surface treatment, please park at least 50 feet away from the street that will be worked on. Plan on not driving on your street for 24 hours. We will provide golf cart shuttling for those who physically need assistance getting from your home to your car. Please call 817-685-1526 and give as much advanced notice as possible.
Additionally, we have arranged for the Police Department to conduct additional patrols around your neighborhood during this time to keep an eye on your vehicles while they are parked away from your home.
